IMPORTANT NOTICE
All lambs born in 2022 must be Exhibitor bred.

DANSKE BANK / NISA SHEEP CHAMPIONSHIP 2023
For the best ewe, any breed, any age, having reared a lamb in 2023.
All exhibitors wishing to qualify for the Danske Bank / Northern Ireland Shows Association Sheep Championship must enter the name / breed of their animal(s) and exhibitor details with the qualifying show. The qualifiers for the Championship will be the first and second prize winners in the Danske Bank / NISA class.
This qualifying class is open to all ewes, any breed, any age, having reared a lamb in 2023, at Omagh Show, which has not already qualified for the Final. Stewards will enquire from the qualifying exhibitors if it is their intention to be present at Antrim Show on Saturday, 22nd July 2023 for the final.
In the event of the qualified exhibitors not wishing to attend the Championship, then the Judge will be asked to identify further qualifying animals.
Qualifying exhibitors who do not appear at the Championship may be disqualified from competing in Championships organised by NISA in 2024, unless good reason is given for such nonattendance.
No exhibitor may qualify more than two exhibits for the Championship. Animals cannot qualify for the Championship in sheep classes at Antrim Show.
NISA will present special rosettes to the exhibitors of both qualifying animals at each qualifying Show. Each animal forward at the Championship, not in the top four, will be paid attendance money of £20.00.
Prizes at the Final
1st Prize - £300 plus Crystal Trophy and Sash
2nd Prize £200
3rd Prize £100
4th Prize £50
(The above prize monies include the £20 attendance monies).
Prize money will be forwarded, by cheque, to the named exhibitor at the address notified to the Qualifying Show. It is important that details of the exhibitor, animal, address, contact details, are correct.
The Qualifying Shows are: Ballymoney, Lurgan, Armagh, Saintfield, Ballymena, Newry, Omagh, Castlewellan, and Co. Londonderry.

CHAMPION INTERBREED SHEEP OF SHOW
The Champion and Reserve Champion of all Breed Classes are eligible for this Class.
Champion £70.00, Reserve £50.00, Second Reserve £25.00.


THE MARSHALL HAWKES PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP
To be presented to the overall individual Interbreed Champion Sheep of the Show. This Cup has been very kindly presented by The Family of the late Mr Marshall Hawkes.

Not more than one animal from individual breed Class.

THOMPSONS INTERBREED EWE LAMB
Best Ewe Lamb of any breed, each lamb must be a Class Winner for its particular breed.
